    Mr. Dimni is a key Monitoring and Evaluation Expert with 17 years of experience in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) of 128 multi- million development projects in 15 sectors of development cooperation (Justice and Home Affairs, Security, Rule of Law, Good Governance, Cybersecurity, Energy and Green Financing, Migration, Regional/Economic Development, SMEs, Cross-cutting aspects in international development) in 28 countries across the globe (Turkey, Serbia, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, Moldova, Ukraine, north Cyprus, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Nigeria, Ghana, Mauritius, Botswana, Mozambique, Tanzania, Rwanda, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Ecuador, and Dominican Republic).

    Mr. Dimni has 17 years of experience working with EU consultancy companies (Particip, Integration, GIZ, AETS, IBF International Consulting, Expertise France, ECORYS, ARS Progetti, WYG Turkey, FIIAPP, GFA Consulting, NI-CO, Artival Evaluations, CIVIPOL; UN organizations (UNDOC, UNDEF, IOM), and US consultancy companies such as ARD Inc-Tetra Tech, International Development Group (IDG), and NDI for International Affairs.


    Mr Dimi possesses a Master's in Design and Management of Development Projects, a Master in Artificial Intelligence for Public Services, and a Master in Law. He has successfully completed a course on Public Policy Analysis and Evaluation at the prestigious London School of Economics (LSE).


    Topic: Democracy-Oriented Indicators for AI National Strategies

    This workshop will focus on integrating democratic values into AI policies. He will emphasize the EU’s approach to transparency, accountability, and human rights, contrasting it with US and Chinese strategies. Dimni will stress the need for democratic indicators like public participation and algorithmic transparency to ensure accountability and trust, warning that without them, AI could worsen inequality and erode trust.
